Every person has a story to tell. We need to tell it and we need to hear the stories of others. We are all unique and on a distinctive journey, and, keeping that privately to ourselves is to deprive others of the blessing of hearing it.

We all have had a share of delight and disappointment, and sharing it with others helps us both remember the highs and make sense of the lows. We don’t live in a vacuum, and it’s the collection of all our stories that form common humanity.

Let’s not be a number. Let’s be more than a name. Let’s hear and tell our stories as we make sense of others and ourselves.
